Day 1
Arrival in Foz do Iguaçu
This adventure was designed for you, who dream of riding your own motorcycle to the Atacama Desert in Chile! Riding out from Brazil, we will cross Argentina and the Andes Mountains to reach the Atacama, one of the most sought-after destinations for motorcyclists in South America! An arid yet captivating setting, with lunar landscapes, salt flats, geysers, lagoons, and volcanoes will win you over. We will have two full days in the Atacama region to explore its main attractions, including the famous sculpture La Mano del Desierto. In addition to the Atacama, we will ride through Northwest Argentina, known for its colorful mountains and unique rock formations in Purmamarca. The highlight of the ride occurs on the climb of Cuesta del Lipán, crossing the Andes via the Jama Pass at an altitude of over 13,000 feet! Our tour also features another great attraction: we will cross the San Francisco Pass, a spectacle nestled in the Andes. Tour conducted with the participant’s own motorcycle, departing from Brazil.
The itinerary departs from the coast of Antofagasta toward the arid and monumental landscapes of the Atacama Desert and Northwest Argentina. The route crosses the Andes Mountains via the San Francisco and Jama passes, visiting icons such as the Hand of the Desert, Cafayate, and Purmamarca.
